This time of year we find ourselves in a strange parallel universe, writing for the richest and the poorest people in the world.
One day we're extolling the wonders of 7-Star opulence in Dubai; the next we're wondering if a family in South East Asia will be able to afford to buy the nails they need to repair their hut. Butlers tend over-water villas on coral atolls in the Indian Ocean. Berwaqo lives with her parents and seven siblings in her makeshift home in Ethiopia (pictured above) and waits patiently for the rains.
Both are worlds we would probably never know if it wasn't for the unlikely places copywriting takes us. Long may it continue.
